The French auction house, Artcurial Motorcars is hosting the Garden Party in Saint-Tropez, where an exceptional auction is to take place on Saturday, 29 June 2024, at the prestigious Saint-Tropez Golf Club in Gassin, on the French Riviera. Following a ‘white glove’ sale in Monaco for The W Collection: From Stockholm to Monaco, which fetched over €30 million, this new event will once again gather car lovers and collectors on Saturday 29 June.

The 100 cars will be displayed for two days on the fairway in the style of a Concours d’élégance before the auction, which will be happening in the Orangeraie, an eerie canopy with a majestic glass roof. Estimated at around €15 million, this collection of 100 cars includes exceptional models that are amongst the most coveted on the market.

An exceptional French collection, never seen before at auction. Coming from a very important French collection, Saint-Tropez Golf Club’s fairway will host a complete range of Mercedes Benz SL cabriolet models, including the 1958 300 SL Roadster (Estimate: €900,000 – €1,100,000) and all models following this date until today, including the rarest and most sought-after AMG and Brabus models (Estimate: €320,000 – €380,000). Most of these SLs have very low mileage and are all maintained by the same dealer. This line of convertibles has become legendary at Mercedes and contributing to their reputation for excellence and unrivalled exclusivity.

Matthieu Lamoure, Directeur Artcurial Motorcars said, “Saint-Tropez, one of the most iconic places in the world, is synonymous with parties, sunny beaches and luxury, where the world’s most famous celebrities have always gathered. On 28 and 29 June, the 100 Collector Cars selected by Artcurial Motorcars for their history, provenance, condition and appeal will, for one afternoon, become celebrities and take center stage. Expect a sale with an exceptional line-up and a festive atmosphere!”
